Jessica began her writing career in first grade with her very first journal entry: “I HaDaGod Day!” Since then, her grammar has improved and her outlook has stayed positive.

Born and raised on a farm in rural North Dakota, Jessica has a deep appreciation for her Midwest roots and much of her work is a reflection of that love.

Jessica currently writes for television. Her work can be seen on shows such as Hallmark’s The Way Home and the CBS comedy, Man With A Plan. She is currently developing her script, Cleo. Jessica has co-created, written, and starred in a series for Hulu, was a columnist for the Fargo Forum, an essayist for Prairie Public Radio, and has contributed to Zooey Deschanel’s website, Hello Giggles. Despite this, she still thinks her best work was done in her junior high journal.

But Wait, There's More!
